What is Ultimate Green Capsules?

Ultimate Greens Capsules are exactly that - the UK's Ultimate green nutrient capsules. It is a blend of some of the most antioxidant rich vegetables and algae around.Ultimate Greens is a food blend containing 11 super-green foods as well as added probiotics. All of the active ingredients are naturally occurring and have amazing effects on your digestive health, immune function, energy levels and overall health.

Within this product we have put some of the most nutrient dense green foods available, (kind of the ‘who’s-who’ of green foods) including; Wheat grass, Barley Grass, Alfalfa, Spirulina, Chlorella, Coriander, Fructooligosaccharides (a prebiotic), Broccoli, Spinach, Watercress, Kale, and added probiotics. This makes this one of the most complete green products on the market. Ultimate Greens Capsules is manufactured from premium grade ingredients and is a great option to take any time of the day to boost your energy levels and help detox the digestive system.

Broccoli is rich in vitamin A, iron, vitamin K, B-complex vitamins, zinc, phosphorus and phyto-nutrients (compounds which have been shown to lower the risk of developing diabetes, heart disease and certain cancers) It is also full of ‘indole-3-carbinol’, a kind of ‘super’ compound which is great for detoxification.

Spinach is high in niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fibre, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. So, it’s pretty much loaded with good things for every part of your body!

With a combination of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, kale is a ‘dream food’ for those seeking health and fat loss. Kale is an incredible source of well-absorbed calcium, which is one of the many factors that may help prevent osteoporosis. It also provides vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin B6, manganese, and potassium whilst the manganese in kale helps your body’s own antioxidant defence system, superoxide dismutase, protecting you from damaging free radicals.

More than 15 essential vitamins and minerals have been identified in watercress – with more iron than spinach, more calcium than milk, and more vitamin C than oranges. Vitamin K is by far the most prominent nutrient in watercress which forms and strengthens the bones and limits neuronal damage in the brain.

Barley Grass is said to have 30x more vitamin B1 and 11x the amount of calcium than there is in cow’s milk (wonder where the cows are getting that calcium from in the first place?) and close to 7x the vitamin C in oranges. It also helps replenish organic sodium in the lining of the stomach, aiding digestion by improving the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. It’s also 45% protein, so can help keep hunger at bay.

Wheat Grass contains up to 70% chlorophyll, which is an important blood builder and is used to neutralise toxins from the body and detoxify the liver. It has even been called a ‘perfect food’ by some nutritionists, as it contains 90 minerals including; magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, chromium, iron, selenium, and zinc. It’s also rich in over 30 different enzymes, which aid digestion and can help kill bad bacteria in the gut. Wheat grass also contains a huge plethora of vitamins (A, B-complex, C, E, l and K). It is extremely rich in protein, and contains 17 amino acids, the building blocks of protein.

Alfalfa derives from the Arabic phrase “father of all foods”, so it must pack a hefty nutrient punch. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and even protein. Of the many essential nutrients that alfalfa provides, some of the most prevalent include; vitamin A, vitamins B1 and B6, vitamins C, vitamin E, and vitamin K. Alfalfa is also full of protein, and contains phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium and chlorophyll. All of these essential nutrients can provide many benefits to encourage a feeling of wellbeing and vitality when alfalfa is used.

FOS serves as an intestinal nutrient for the beneficial bacteria that naturally populate our guts. So it promotes the ability of these bacteria to benefit overall health, especially their power to support proper digestion and immune function.

Probiotics are friendly and beneficial bacteria are naturally present in our intestines but their numbers can be reduced due to modern lifestyle. Research suggests that greater numbers of these bacteria may help in supporting the immune system and digestive function.

Chlorella helps the body detoxify itself in a yet not understood profound way. It appears that over millions of years chlorella has developed specific detoxifying proteins andpeptides for every existing toxic metal. Chlorophyl is one of the greatest food substances for cleansing the bowel and other elimination systems, such as the liver and the blood.

Spirulina is a form of blue-green algae that springs from warm, fresh water bodies and has been shown as an effective chelating agent for removing toxins such as mercury, and radioactive substances from the body. It has also been used to remove cadmium and lead from waste water.

Cilantro is capable of mobilizing mercury, cadmium, lead and aluminum in both bones and the central nervous system. It has been found to be a very effective agent in mobilizing mercury stored in the intracellular space (attached to mitochondria, tubulin, liposomes etc) and in the nucleus of the cell (reversing DNA damage of mercury).
